About Tom

Six years ago, my family and I made the move from Chicago to Bangor, Michigan. It was a big adjustment in many ways, with lots to learn, but we have learned and love it here. I was a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools but when we moved here the economy was turning down so teaching jobs were being cut. I moved into the real estate world and found it to be similar - helping others to achieve their next goal in life. Once again, there was plenty to learn, but I have enjoyed this adventure very much.

I enjoy helping people find the right home. I enjoy helping people learn the things they need to know to be homeowners in this part of the world. When I don’t know something, I do what I’ve been doing since I moved here–I ask someone who does! Whether you’re moving from the city or just looking for a new home in your current “neighborhood” let me help you find exactly what you want and make the transition to this phase of your life.

Background
I graduated from high school in Chicago, then went to college. Teaching jobs were scarce, so I worked at a couple of things, then got a job at an alternative high school. Looking for something different, I owned and operated a print shop with my brother. After a few years as a business owner, I left that and soon was back in teaching.

Accomplishments / Awards:
