South Haven & Bangor, MI

South Haven and Bangor are located on or near the Lake Michigan shoreline, in the heart of Van Buren County’s “Wine Country.” Both are situated on the Black River and offer plenty of opportunity for some serious salmon fishing in the fall. These picturesque small towns are supported by tourism, small business and mid-sized manufacturing, including metal castings and fruit production.

Things to See and Do in the Bangor Area:

Lots of local skiing. Wine tours. Miles of beautiful Beaches.
A day of shopping at unique, home-town stores. Visit the
AirZoo in Kalamazoo, or the Southwest Michigan Symphony
Orchestra in Benton Harbor. Or take a day trip to Chicago or
Detroit, only 2 1/2 hours away.
